How it works

  • Solar panels

Solar panels capture sunlight and transform it into Direct Current electricity.

  • Inverter

The inverter takes the direct current electricity generated by the solar panels and transforms it into alternating current electricity.

  • Electrical Panel/Breaker Box

The energy emitted by the inverter is sent to the electrical panel or “breaker box”. From here the energy is distributed to all of your electrical charges (lightbulbs, electrical appliances, computers, motors, etc.). The energy that is not consumed immediately is sent to the grid through the meter.

  • Bidirectional Meter

This device quantifies the energy that you feed to the grid when your system produces more than what you consume at that moment, and the energy that you take from the grid when your production does not satisfy your consumption or at night when there is no sunlight.
